Band Bios
Dennis is the Dad. He plays rhythm guitar and sings in the band. Dennis is also the sound and recording tech and handles all of the details. Besides reading, he enjoys playing guitar, writing songs, hunting and spending time with his kids.
Mom is, well, the mom. She sings… or tries to look like she’s singing. She enjoys being with her family, schooling the kids and helping Dennis in whatever endeavor he has. She also blogs and runs a forum for moms.
Anne, 23, works from home doing web design and code input for a web page design company. She enjoys working with her computer, and playing just about any musical instrument she sets her mind to. Anne also enjoys sewing, reading, crafts in general, and lots more!
Benjamin, 21, is the drummer/percussionist for the band. He graduated at 16 and has been working full time building trusses for EBC Truss and making firewood to sell in the off season. He enjoys gun collecting (especially black powder), eating, reading, hand making knives using his forge, improving on his pickup, listening to Keith Green music and eating.
Joseph, 20, plays lead guitar. He enjoys clowning around and entertaining. He also enjoys web designing/developing, programming, photography, clowning around, anything to do with aviation, and cooking. Visit his online store here. Katie Joy Heidecker, 19, plays the violin and is engaged to be married to Joe on June 26. She enjoys sewing, piano and wedding planning!
Eric, 18, plays harmonica in the band. He also enjoys electronics, taking things apart and seeing how few parts it needs to perform it’s former function. Eric made E.C.’s main guitar amp when he was 13. He also enjoys playing computer games, working on his three 1964 Scout 80, anything to do with guns, shooting, and writing comics.
Elizabeth, 16, plays the recorder and sings. She enjoys reading, baking, cooking, and sewing. She graduated at age 15 and now enjoys teaching the younger children how to read in our homeschool.
Emily, 14, sings. She enjoys reading, entamology, learning guitar, singing, and gardening. Emily can, and will, adopt any stray animal that happens by, dangerous or otherwise.
Kaitlynn, 14, was born 40 minutes after Em. Kate sings in the band and enjoys singing, piano, family, reading, horses, gardening and birds.
Tessila, 10, sings. She enjoys reading, pretty pink things, piano, guitar, singing, drawing, and catching butterflies.
Rase, 7, sings. He likes to play Legos, read, and repair broken items around the house such as hinges and door knobs.
Jayden, 6, sings, as well. He like to play trucks, especially adding sound effects and even more especially in the dirt. He possesses the unique ability to play with trucks that do not exist.
Abigail, 5, sings. She enjoys singing, pretty pink things, dolls, and playing with her brothers and little sister.
Elle, 2, hangs out on stage and looks cute. She enjoys eating, sleeping, learning to talk and communicate with us, giggling, and getting daddy’s attention.
Keith is in charge of our live sound production at the board, while Julie is the head of the cheer leading team. They are Katie’s parents, soon to be Joe’s in-laws.
