Proverbs 3:5-7 and I also say Proverbs 4:25-27 “Let your eyes look directly ahead, (at the Lord) and let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you. (on the Lord) Watch the path of your feet, (to the Lord) and all your ways will be established. (with the Lord) Do not turn to the right or the left; Turn your foot from evil.
I’ve heard it said that the book of Proverbs is just wisdom literature and, as such, it’s not commands that we have to obey. So if we don’t do what it says, that means we are stupid. Right? Right.
