IT IS OUT!!
IT’S OUT! IT’S OUT!! Not just the CD…. Elle Jane McLean!!! The newest member of Electric Church and she came home today! Elle Jane was born Tuesday September 4th at 4:52 pm. She weighed in at 6 lbs. 11 oz. That brings the total to 14 Electric Church band members. Of course, the 14 in our family are only a local chapter of the Electric Church. The real question is; are you a member of Electric Church? The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up.
Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,
looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat!
But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. 2 Peter 3:9-13
This Scripture gives us proper perspective. What you do in the “here and now” has eternal ramifications. Are you Stained Glass and a Living Stone being built into a spiritual house that will last for eternity? If you don’t know, maybe you should find out. Eternity is riding on it. Unless the Lord Builds the House, They Labor in Vain Who Build It (see song #8, Build the House, on the FREE CD)!
BTW, no exclamation points were seriously harmed in the making of this blog. If it appears some of them were severely overworked, it was just trick blogerfy.
